Job Summary: This position ensures the efficient procurement of materials and services for construction projects through quotation, negotiation, and logistical follow-up, guaranteeing quality, cost-effectiveness, and delivery timelines. Key Highlights: 1. Ensure timely and efficient supply of materials for construction projects. 2. Negotiate with and develop competitive suppliers. 3. Coordinate logistics to ensure on-time and in-full deliveries. **Job Objective** Ensure timely, efficient, and cost-effective procurement of materials and services required for construction projects through quotation, negotiation, and logistical follow-up, guaranteeing quality, cost-effectiveness, and delivery timelines. **Main Responsibilities** * Receive material and service requisitions from construction sites. * Obtain quotations from at least two to three suppliers for each requirement. * Analyze comparative pricing, commercial terms, delivery timelines, and quality. * Negotiate costs, credit terms, discounts, and delivery timelines with suppliers. * Generate purchase orders and track their status. * Coordinate delivery logistics to ensure materials arrive at construction sites on time and in full. * Monitor in-transit orders closely and resolve delivery-related issues. * Verify that received materials match the requested quantities and specifications. * Maintain an up-to-date supplier catalog and market price list. * Identify and develop new competitive suppliers. * Monitor and report cost variances or supply delays. * Coordinate with site supervisors, warehouse staff, and administrative departments. **Requirements** * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or related field. * Experience: 3–5 years of procurement experience in the construction industry. * Knowledge of construction materials, finishes, and related services. * Supplier negotiation experience. * Proficiency in Excel (intermediate to advanced level). **Key Competencies** * Organization and follow-up * Effective negotiation * Cost analysis * Sense of urgency * Clear communication * Problem solving * Supplier rotation and development Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $14,000.00 per month Work Location: On-site
