* **Position:** Industrial Safety Officer * **Area:** Safety, Health, and Environment * **Employment Type:** Contractor * **Location:** Industrial sites and assigned worksites (e.g., production plants, industrial construction projects, etc.), availability to travel within the country. * **Work Schedule:** Full-time * **Reports to:** Industrial Safety Coordinator / Project Safety Manager **Job Objective** Ensure compliance with safety, occupational health, and environmental regulations at client facilities, promoting a risk prevention culture and safeguarding the well-being of personnel, contractors, visitors, and facilities. **Main Responsibilities** * Verify compliance with safety policies and procedures in the field. * Conduct daily inspections of work areas, reporting unsafe conditions and actions. * Coordinate implementation of corrective and preventive measures. * Support safety inductions and training for operational and contractor personnel. * Supervise proper use of PPE (personal protective equipment). * Participate in incident and accident investigations, preparing corresponding reports. * Monitor compliance with work permits, risk assessments, and lockout-tagout (LOTO) procedures. * Maintain up-to-date safety records, logs, and photographic reports. * Promote safety culture through campaigns and preventive communication. * Comply with and enforce applicable regulations (NOM-STPS, Federal Safety and Health Regulations, client policies). **Requirements** * **Education:** Technical degree or Engineering (Industrial Safety, Environmental, or related fields). * **Experience:** Minimum 2 years in industrial safety within plants or industrial projects. * **Knowledge:** * STPS regulations and industrial safety procedures. * Risk analysis, work permits, hazardous energy control, working at heights, and confined spaces. * Preparation of safety reports and indicators. * Basic proficiency in Office, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. * **Skills:** * Effective communication. * Leadership and teamwork. * Professional responsibility and ethics. * Proactive attitude focused on prevention.
