Role Overview: As the **Senior ISM Sales Manager**, you will be responsible for leading sales initiatives across a significant portion of the business, ensuring the creation and execution of robust product strategies that drive sales growth. This role supports the development of both the sales strategy and the channel support strategy. Product categories for this position include industrial sewing machines (ISM) for textile and non-textile markets, including sectors such as automotive, medical, fall protection, etc. This position focuses on the U.S. market and oversees subsidiaries in Central and South America, as well as Regions 2 and 5 (other Central American countries not covered by our subsidiaries), in terms of collaboration, managerial influence, and overall global leadership. Additionally, this role assists in managing regional sales managers, sales technical specialists, and product line managers, planning and managing time within the territory, supporting customer events and trade shows, and adhering to expense budget guidelines. Duties & Responsibilities: Budgeting and Sales Forecasting* + Manage the sales budget and forecast; assist in developing and measuring performance against objectives to ensure achievement of the sales budget and profitability targets, and to realize sales growth in the assigned region and improve overall Industrial Products Division (IPD) performance. + Develop and maintain detailed sales forecasts for assigned sales territories; maintain accurate data and controls regarding inventory, sales figures, sales forecasts, and overhead expenses; ensure all related issues are addressed and incorporated into the monthly forecast; and assist Industrial Sewing Machine (ISM) in tracking its target budget. + Collaborate with channel partners to prioritize regular interaction with end users within the territory. + Conduct quarterly business reviews with customers and distributors. + Acquire net new customers through integrated solution-based selling and team-oriented approaches. + Identify key current end users within the territory; engage regularly with these customers to build strong relationships; continue selling to existing customers; and secure critical net new sales. Sales Strategy* + Assist in recommending sales programs, pricing, and marketing strategies to improve areas dictated by market conditions and develop opportunities to increase sales. + Participate in relevant industry events, including but not limited to trade shows, technology seminars, and association meetings. + Serve as the end-customer liaison with internal and external cross-functional teams within the territory. + Travel with the sales team to observe and advise during customer meetings. + Prepare monthly reports to track progress and performance; report to stakeholders upon request. Reporting and Administration* + Provide a monthly sales team progress report, detailing monthly activities and maintaining all details updated weekly in the Customer Relationship Management system (Salesforce). + Manage and maintain an up-to-date calendar with at least 60 days of visibility. + Ensure team members’ calendars are also kept current. + Review all company CRM sales information, detailing specific sales opportunities and all relevant activity. + Analyze findings from reports and formulate strategies jointly with management, continuously monitoring and adjusting the sales strategy as needed. Additional Role Responsibilities* + Oversee direct reports generally, ensuring tasks and duties are completed as required. + Draft and conduct performance evaluations. + Provide guidance, training, mentoring, coaching, and development. Experience & Qualifications: Requirements* + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field. + Minimum 8 years of experience in sales management of **industrial sewing machines** and related technology for end users. **MANDATORY**. + Experience managing sales across multiple distribution channels, including distributors, dealers, etc. + Proficiency with data analytics tools such as Salesforce or Tableau. + Willingness and ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 75% of the time. + Valid U.S. B1/B2 visa and passport. + Advanced English proficiency (C1–C2 level). + Our headquarters in Mexico are located in Santa Fe, Mexico City; however, applicants may reside in Nuevo León, Coahuila, or Querétaro, as this position is not office-based.
