Production Supervisor \- CB3 \- NM Job Description: General Function of the Position: ➢ Responsible for managing resources and activities of the color group to achieve established batch release goals and objectives. Monitor the color matching process according to specifications agreed upon with the customer to ensure proper line performance. Provide technical support for OEM material color-related issues. Track material releases to ensure they occur within the TAS cycle time target agreed upon by management. Scope: ➢ Paint manufacturing management is highly critical since material shortages on the customer’s production line would cause a line stoppage, resulting in economic losses imposed on Axalta via penalties. A line stoppage due to material shortage would also significantly damage Axalta’s reputation. ➢ Color release for finished products. ➢ Technical Support. ➢ Support in color development and new continuous improvement projects. ➢ Coordinates Batch Card handling during the process and ensures all documentation and accounting controls are properly maintained to enable timely reporting for monthly closings.
