The product line alone serves as proof with advances in machine performance, equipment automation, fleet management, and John Deere’s ongoing investment in emerging markets. *Note: All candidates should have their tax situation certificate (Constancia de Siituación Fiscal) up to date with the salary regime to be eligible for the hiring process.* Main Responsibilites: * Define and execute a global strategy for the design, standardization, and optimization of electrical harnesses for specific products within the Common Electrical Systems Engineering group (Crop Care \& Combines). * Ensure quality and performance of parts for customers by analyzing technical specifications, validating compatibility, and supporting preferred component definitions. * Establish and maintain criteria to assess complexity in harness strategy, guiding key decisions in design, performance, and manufacturing processes. * Explore trends in materials, connectivity, and processes; lead pilot tests and validate feasibility for future programs. * Develop and update design guidelines to ensure consistency, compliance, and best practices across all programs. * Monitor key indicators such as cost, timelines, and project performance. * Maintain strategic relationships with harness suppliers and collaborate with engineering, purchasing, and quality teams to align with program objectives. What Skills You Need: * Advanced knowledge in electrical harness design, component selection, and applicable standards. * Strong understanding of products within the Common Electrical Systems Engineering group (Crop Care \& Combines). * Experience in participating and/or leading product development projects (EPDP and/or TDP). * Knowlege in Planters and Srpayers. What Makes You Stando Out: * Leadership and project management capabilities. * Ability to negotiate and coordinate with suppliers and cross\-functional teams. * Proficiency in digital tools and software (Creo, CHS, Power Automate, ADO). Education: * Degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Mechanical Electrical Engineering, or Aeronautical Engineering. **This position will be posted for a minimum of 10 business days and unposted when a qualified pool of candidates is achieved.****Candidates must have the necessary work permits to work in the country.**
