The selected candidate will undertake a blended learning program, rotating between both categories while assuming day-to-day responsibilities of a **Flavor Assistant**. It is an ideal opportunity to launch a career in flavor development, working closely with senior flavorists and on real projects within the laboratory.**Key responsibilities** * Prepare a wide variety of flavors, including simple blends, extracts, emulsions and powder mixes, to fulfill sample requests and project needs. * Conduct physical, chemical and organoleptic tests, as well as flavor analysis. * Collaborate with the analytical team on “flavor matching” projects. * Work with the applications team on projects requiring such support. * Receive training on regulatory and labeling requirements related to flavors. * Support senior flavorists across various internal and external projects. * Collaborate with cross-functional teams to leverage Kerry’s strengths and deliver the best Taste & Nutrition experience to customers. * Participate in sensory panels and other development activities. * Maintain inventory of laboratory raw materials and supplies. * Continuously study various aspects of flavor development. **Qualifications and skills** * Preferably educated in fields such as Chemistry (Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, Pharmaceutical Chemistry) or related disciplines. * Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Life Sciences, or relevant industry experience in food/flavors/sciences. * 0–3 years of experience in: + Food science. + Laboratory work. + Olfactory and gustatory skills for sensory evaluation. * Minimum intermediate level of English
