Procurement Management (Supply) ​The objective is to ensure the company obtains what it needs, at the best price and at the right time. ​- Requirements Analysis: Review stock levels and departmental requests to determine purchasing needs. ​- Supplier Management: ​Identify and evaluate suppliers (quality, delivery time, credit terms). ​Negotiate pricing and payment terms. ​Purchase Order Cycle: ​Create and issue purchase orders. ​Track orders to ensure on-time delivery. ​Administrative Control: Validate invoices against received goods and manage returns or claims for defective materials. ​2. Warehouse Management (Physical Control) ​The objective is to guarantee product integrity, order, and immediate availability. ​Receiving and Verification: ​Unloading of materials. ​Physical verification against delivery note or invoice (quantity and condition). ​Storage and Organization: ​Assign strategic storage locations (by rotation, weight, or hazard level). ​Maintain order and cleanliness (5S methodology). ​Inventory Control: ​Record all receipts and issues in the system (ERP or Excel). ​Conduct cyclic inventories (daily quick counts) and periodic full inventories. ​Manage minimum and maximum stock levels to prevent stockouts. ​Order Preparation and Dispatch: ​Picking and packing of internal or external orders. ​Delivery logistics or coordination with carriers. Skills: Negotiation, analytical ability, extreme organization, and integrity. ​Knowledge: Inventory software proficiency, Microsoft Office suite (intermediate Excel), and basic accounting/logistics concepts.
