Lead cross-cultural teams with exceptional follow-up and decisive escalation **Position Summary:** We are seeking a high\-caliber **Supplier Quality Engineer** to join our Tier 1 automotive team. This role serves as the primary technical liaison between our global supply base and our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that all incoming components meet the highest industry standards, driving supplier performance through rigorous auditing, advanced problem\-solving, and cross\-cultural leadership. **Requirements:** * **English Proficiency:** Advanced/Fluent (Mandatory). Must be capable of conducting technical meetings, drafting 8D reports, leading audits, and managing supplier communications entirely in English. * **Experience:** 3\+ years of proven experience as an SQE within an **Automotive Tier 1** environment. * **Availability:** Must be willing to work overtime as required by project milestones or operational emergencies. **Technical Qualifications:** * **Standards \& Auditing:** Expert knowledge of IATF 16949\. Preferred candidates will hold an **Internal or Lead Auditor Certification** for **CQI\-19**. * **CQI Specialization:** Strong working knowledge of AIAG's Continuous Quality Improvement standards: **CQI\-9, CQI\-12, CQI\-15, CQI\-19, and CQI\-23**. * **Core Tools:** Advanced proficiency in AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, MSA). * **Process Expertise:** Technical understanding of manufacturing processes including **Injection Molding, Assembly, Welding, and Electronics**. * **Problem Solving:** Mastery of the **8D methodology** and advanced root cause analysis tools. **Key Soft Skills:** * **Cultural Awareness:** Ability to navigate and collaborate effectively across different cultures. * **Leadership \& Management:** Exceptional follow\-up skills and a decisive approach to escalation processes when quality standards are at risk.
