You will drive productivity through continuous improvement initiatives to ensure product excellence at our Silao, Guanajuato plant.**Job Description:** * Process Optimization: Propose and execute strategies to maximize process throughput and drive continuous improvement (CI) initiatives. * Technical Documentation: Develop and maintain detailed Process Sheets, Work Instructions, and Error Proofing (Poka-Yoke) systems. * Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead multidisciplinary teams to develop action plans for key metrics, including FTQ (First Time Quality), OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness), and controllable plant cost reduction. * Scrap Reduction: Actively participate in scrap reduction programs utilizing Shainin methodologies and advanced problem-solving techniques. * Technical Design & GD&T: Design and improve mechanical fixtures, benches, stations, and tooling based on GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) analysis; ensure all changes are documented in the tooling blueprints. * Efficiency Improvements: Drive cycle time reduction and implement automation projects from concept to validation to achieve cost savings. * Advanced Manufacturing Systems: Develop new production concepts and automated cell designs to enhance process efficiency. * Tooling & Process Management: Administer operating instructions, manage critical tooling and contact part inventories, and monitor key process parameters. * Risk Management (**FMEA**): Expertly develop and maintain **PFMEAs** and execute Reverse PFMEAs in accordance with AIAG (4th Ed) and VDA/AIAG standards. * Audit Readiness: Lead and support internal and external quality audits. * Technology Integration: Spearhead the acquisition and integration of new technologies, equipment, and manufacturing processes. * Data-Driven Decision Making: Utilize data acquisition programs and statistical studies to support strategic decision-making. * Stakeholder Communication: Exercise strong leadership and communication skills to establish agreements across departments and maintain effective reporting lines at least two levels up in the organization. **Required Skills and Education** Mechanical, Electromechanical, or Mechatronics Engineer (or related field) with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the automotive industry. Proven track record in assembly line machinery management and expertise in Core Tools.
