Exposure to modern observability architectures. **SOPRIS TECHNOLOGIES \- ZAPOPAN, CDMX, is seeking a Senior Observability Architect at Manantial Peña Pobre \- Tlalpan, Ciudad de México** ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SOPRIS TECHNOLOGIES, a company specializing in technology and observability solutions, is looking for an **Observability Architect** with strong expertise in **APM, Infrastructure, Logs, Metrics, and Traces**, and extensive hands-on experience designing and implementing end-to-end monitoring solutions. The selected candidate will join a high-impact team, participating in **architecture definition, standardization of observability practices, and technical enablement** for enterprise clients and strategic projects—primarily on platforms such as **New Relic, OpenTelemetry, and cloud ecosystems**. This role targets senior technical profiles with architectural vision, practical (hands-on) experience, and technical leadership capability. **Responsibilities** * Implement observability solutions based on pre-defined architectures. * Configure and optimize **New Relic** (APM, Infrastructure, Logs, Dashboards, Alerts, NRQL). * Implement and operate **OpenTelemetry** pipelines (Collector, exporters, processors). * Integrate and operate **Network & Digital Experience Monitoring** tools such as **Catchpoint** and **ThousandEyes**. * Analyze application and network performance: latency, errors, saturation, availability. * Correlate application, infrastructure, and network data for advanced diagnostics. * Develop scripts and automations in **Python** (Bash / PowerShell desirable). * Build technical and executive dashboards following defined standards. * Support integrations with **GCP, AWS, or Azure** environments. * Execute testing, validation, and troubleshooting in development and production environments. * Document configurations, technical workflows, and operational procedures. * Collaborate with other engineers and participate in technical reviews. **Technical Requirements (Mandatory)** * Experience as a **Senior Observability Engineer, SRE, or Engineer focused on monitoring**. * Hands-on experience with **New Relic**, **DataDog, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, or Grafana Cloud** (implementation and operation). * Functional knowledge of **OpenTelemetry**. * Solid networking knowledge: * + TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS + Latency, packet loss, throughput + Proxies, load balancers, and firewalls (conceptual) * Linux experience. * Scripting in **Python**. * Proficiency with **JSON and YAML**. * Professional use of **Git**. **Technical Requirements (Desirable)** * Experience with **Catchpoint** and/or **ThousandEyes**. * Knowledge of **Network Performance Monitoring (NPM)** and **Digital Experience Monitoring (DEM)**. * Use of **Docker** and familiarity with **Kubernetes**. * Integration with **Prometheus, Grafana, Telegraf, Fluent Bit**. * Consumption of **REST or GraphQL APIs**. * Experience in enterprise or large-scale environments. **Skills and Competencies** * Strong **hands-on** orientation. * High analytical and troubleshooting capability. * Autonomy to execute complex tasks under architectural guidance. * Clear and technical communication. * Effective collaboration within specialized engineering teams. * Attention to detail and thorough documentation. * Continuous learning mindset. **We Offer** * Participation in strategic and high-impact projects. * Continuous technical and professional growth. * Exposure to modern observability architectures. * A collaborative and highly technical work environment. * Flexibility and results-oriented focus.
