Essential responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, the following: * + - * Consistently provide professional, warm, and friendly service. * Resolve maintenance issues with minimal or no supervision. * Identify, locate, and operate all main shut-off valves for water, gas, as well as main electrical circuit breakers. * Monitor inventory levels and proactively request necessary spare parts and supplies. * Diagnose malfunctions and perform repairs on all types of refrigeration, freezing, ice-making equipment, ventilation systems, kitchen equipment, electromechanical equipment, plumbing, laundry equipment, and other general facilities. * Conduct water quality monitoring and follow up accordingly to ensure proper water treatment. * Operate required tools, materials, and equipment safely. * Perform routine rounds to record energy consumption readings and operational parameters of equipment. * Comply with departmental and hotel policies and procedures (Internal Work Regulations). * Attend all required trainings. * Participate in hotel emergency response teams (as needed). * Adhere to all safety policies. * Perform other assigned tasks, including room repairs. * Maintain cleanliness of work areas during and after each task or activity. * Ensure machine room doors and electrical panels remain closed. **Requirements** **Requirements:** * Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance for refrigeration, freezing, ice-making equipment, ventilation systems, kitchen equipment, electromechanical equipment, plumbing, laundry equipment, and other general facilities. * Demonstrated ability to read basic blueprints, electrical diagrams, and electronic schematics for refrigeration, freezing, ice-making equipment, kitchen equipment, and heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. * Knowledge and skill in the safe use of hand and power tools, and other hazardous materials required for corrective and preventive tasks. * Technical diploma (high school or secondary education), preferred. * Interpersonal and problem-solving skills. * Highly responsible and reliable. * Ability to work cohesively as part of a team. * Ability to focus attention on guest needs while remaining calm and courteous. * Flexibility to work rotating shifts and varying schedules. * 3 years of experience in the role of Refrigeration Technician. **Additional Information** Experience is a differentiator. Prior experience using the Opera system or a related system. Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities. Fluency in English; additional languages are an advantage.
