Participate in identifying and implementing continual improvement initiatives Quality Specialist Position Summary Our adaptive and integrative Quality Team is looking for a motivated team player that will serve as an integral component to the quality assessment and improvement processes at ProTrans International. Our Quality Specialist will utilize their skills to analyze and monitor our quality solutions within a Quality Management System and our proprietary Transportation Management System. The main goal is to monitor, inspect, and propose measures to correct and improve our services. We are looking for a Quality Specialist that is ready to be a part of our entrepreneurial and fast\-paced culture as well as our incredible Quality Team. Location: San Luis Potosi Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Work closely with each department to define measure, analyze, and establish root cause(s) and implement permanent improvements which yield greater flexibility, lower costs, and improved customer satisfaction. Participates in the audits of field performance against system standard processes to identify and realize improvement opportunities both in terms of performance compliance and process suitability. Assists in the creation, maintenance, and enhancement of the Quality System documentation in accordance with ISO requirements and other regulatory bodies governing PT business (e.g. CTPAT) and internal business objectives. Generates reports that assess, diagnose, and measure established systems to meet customer needs and reduce variation. Assists the Training Coordinator and Team Leaders and performs work as an instructor on quality issues, as required. Participates in the training of the Talent Development Program students with Quality principles and processes. Participates in performing internal audits with the Internal Audits team, such as ISO compliance audits and Grid Process Walk audits. Compiles statistical data and writes narrative reports summarizing quality assurance findings as needed. Performs Document Control functions including, but not limited to the following: update, maintenance, distribution and archiving of controlled documents. Participates in the identification and implementation of continual improvement initiatives to enhance the performance of the position, other departments, and the company. Performs other related projects as assigned by Management or QA supervision. Your Work DNA: Ability to be analytical: synthesizing complex information, collecting and researching data, and using intuition and experience to design workflows and operational procedures. Ability to perform Quality Inspections and interpret Quality Alerts. Ability to work with corrective action for non\-conformance issues. Ability to navigate and communicate with various departments, teams, and processes. Education and/or Experience: Bilingual in English \& Spanish High School Diploma or advance degree in related filed. 1\+ years of operational experience within the field of quality development and improvement. Experience in quality inspections, investigations, and corrective action. Experience within the field of logistics is preferred, but not required.
