Job Summary: We are seeking a Process and Manufacturing Development Engineer to design, improve, and optimize production processes for the efficient manufacturing of medical devices. Multidisciplinary collaboration within an innovation and development team **Process and Manufacturing Development Engineer (R&D)** Objective: To contribute specialized knowledge in industrial machinery and automated systems while collaborating within a multidisciplinary team. The primary function is to design, improve, and optimize production processes, ensuring that technological innovations translate into efficient, high-quality manufacturing of medical devices. Work will be conducted in a multidisciplinary manner. Responsibilities: · Continuous Process Improvement: Analyze current production lines to propose and implement technological improvements that reduce cycle times, costs, and human errors. · Technical Knowledge Integration: Advise the team on selecting appropriate materials, electronic components, and machinery types to ensure new developments are manufacturable. · Design and Adaptation: Develop customized solutions (tooling, sensors, automation) enabling the transition from prototype to mass production. · Efficiency Validation: Conduct technical tests and document results to demonstrate that implemented improvements meet expected safety and performance standards. Requirements: · Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Control and Automation Engineering, Robotics, or related field. · Master’s degree preferred. · Key Technical Skills: PLC programming and industrial control systems. · Mechanical design using CAD software (SolidWorks/Inventor). · Production data analysis to identify improvement opportunities. · Teamwork: Ability to listen and adapt engineering solutions according to scientific or medical requirements from peers. · Knowledge Transfer: Ability to explain the operation and advantages of new technologies to other team members and operational departments. · Proactivity: Initiative to identify emerging market technologies applicable to improving company operations.
