




Job Summary: Leads daily operations, team management, and operational excellence for production, maintenance, and scene management. Key Highlights: 1. Launch and direct daily operations 2. Possess operational excellence and continuous improvement Description and details of responsibilities **Site Leadership & Operations** * Launch and run day-to-day operations * Stand up and manage physical operations: workspace layout, equipment, tooling, safety protocols, and production workflows. * Own operational excellence across: * Throughput and utilization * Data quality * System uptime and reliability * Changeover efficiency (scene changes, task changes, hardware swaps) * Design, document, and continuously improve SOPs for: * Production operations * Maintenance and troubleshooting * Scene setup and change management * Build and maintain dashboards for performance, quality, staffing, and cost. **Production, Maintenance & Scene Management** * Own all aspects on site, including: * Preventive and reactive maintenance * Hardware configuration and setup * Scene changes and task transitions * Lead continuous improvement efforts to reduce downtime and increase yield. * Act as first-line owner for operational issues impacting robotics systems or data collection. * Partner with HQ engineering to deploy software/hardware updates and debug issues as needed. **Team Leadership & Execution** * Build and lead onsite teams, including: * Operations supervisors and shift leads * Operators * Technicians and maintenance staff * Set clear expectations, metrics, and accountability across teams. * Drive strong operating rhythms: shift handoffs, daily metrics reviews, incident tracking, and retrospectives. * Hiring execution, onboarding, and workforce planning. **Business & Financial Ownership** * Own the site’s operating plan, staffing model, and cost targets. * Manage financial discipline around: * Burn rate * Productivity and utilization * Unit economics ($/hour, $/task, etc.) * Participate in forecasting, capacity planning, and scale-up decisions.
