Prepares statistical reports and tracks inspected units. **Settepi, a leading transportation company, is seeking:** **MECHANICAL AUDITOR** **Requirements:** \- High school diploma or bachelor's degree \- Mechanic or operator with mechanical knowledge \- 2 years of experience in general, automotive, or diesel mechanics \- Knowledge of preventive maintenance \- Vehicle inspection \- Audits and adherence to procedures \- Class B driver's license **Job Objective:** Ensure that preventive and corrective maintenance work performed on vehicles complies with organizational standards, guaranteeing proper application of processes, procedures, and technical regulations. This role contributes to maintaining fleet safety, functionality, and optimal operational performance, minimizing risks and maximizing operational efficiency. **Job Responsibilities:** **1\.\- Maintenance Inspection and Validation:** Perform physical inspections of completed repairs, ensuring assembly and operation of replacement components meet established specifications and procedures, aligned with ISO 9001 standards and organizational quality regulations. Validate preventive and corrective maintenance work through field testing, ensuring all faults have been fully corrected prior to vehicle release. Ensure vehicle conditions upon exiting the paint shop meet quality standards, complying with established standards and applicable environmental requirements. Inspect progress and quality of work performed, reporting any deviations from quality standards and ensuring implementation of continuous improvement practices to comply with ISO 9001 standards. **2\.\- Reporting and Tracking:** Prepare and submit statistical reports on inspected vehicles, highlighting areas for improvement and vehicles returned to the workshop, with emphasis on enhancements to meet Environmental Management System requirements and sustainability goals. Ensure scheduled CM tasks for each vehicle are satisfactorily completed, meeting established deadlines and quality and sustainability regulations. Notify operations personnel upon vehicle release, ensuring adherence to timelines, safety requirements, and company environmental policies. Report incidents and updates occurring during the maintenance process to immediate supervisor, highlighting improvement opportunities to comply with ISO 9001 standards and environmental regulations. **3\.\- Safety and Procedure Compliance:** Comply with the organization’s comprehensive safety procedures, ensuring personnel and vehicle safety during maintenance and adherence to ISO 9001 and occupational safety regulations. Implement and promote environmental sustainability practices, minimizing environmental impact during maintenance, proper waste management, and efficient resource consumption. Perform torque verification on vehicles before workshop release, ensuring all safety parameters are met per established environmental and quality standards. **4\.\- Vehicle Receipt and Registration:** Receive vehicles from agencies or other business units, conducting thorough inspections to validate them and prepare reports for system registration, considering compliance with sustainability and environmental management requirements.
