Basic preventive maintenance of molds. **INJECTION MACHINE ADJUSTER** **Job Objective** Assemble, disassemble, adjust, and commission molds on plastic injection machines, ensuring proper equipment operation, product quality, and adherence to established production schedules. **Job Requirements** **Education:** * Technician in Machinery and Tools, Industrial Mechanics, or related field. **Experience:** * 2–3 years of experience in plastic injection mold adjustment. * Experience in mold changeovers and production startups. **Technical Knowledge:** * Operation of injection machines. * Types of molds (cold runner, hot runner). * Basic interpretation of mechanical drawings. * Hydraulic and pneumatic systems. * Use of hand tools and measuring instruments (vernier calipers, micrometers). * Industrial safety and lockout/tagout (LOTO). **Responsibilities** * Assemble and disassemble molds on injection machines. * Adjust and align molds according to technical specifications. * Connect hydraulic, pneumatic, and cooling systems. * Start up machines and release first parts in coordination with Quality. * Adjust basic machine parameters (pressure, temperature, cycle times). * Detect and correct defects during the injection process. * Perform basic preventive maintenance of molds (cleaning, lubrication). * Report major defects to Maintenance. * Comply with industrial safety standards. * Support rapid mold changeovers (SMED, if applicable).
