




Position Summary: HVAC Technician is required with experience in preventive and corrective maintenance, fault diagnosis, installation, and project execution of HVAC systems. Key Highlights: 1. Advanced handling of HVAC equipment and their components HVAC TECHNICIAN is required Requirements: * Education: Technical degree / engineering / incomplete degree * Training: Electromechanical technician, electronics technician, electrical technician * Schedule availability / Residence: 60 minutes from site * Minimum required experience: 3 years in the position; desirable: 5 years in similar positions. Job Mission: * Perform preventive maintenance (PM) and corrective maintenance (CM) activities * Ensure HVAC equipment operation * Participate in fault diagnosis, calculation, installation, and project execution 4. High-impact activities and main challenges – Describe the most complex job activities and types of problems encountered (internal and external, governmental regulations or others). Control: * Read control diagrams and programming (pressure switches, motors, starters, Finder devices, protection devices, power electronics, capacitors, transformers, thermostats, solenoid valves, actuators, temperature sensors, PLCs) * Maintenance and programming of frequency inverters * Read electrical and control symbols or implement RETROFIT activities Power: * Electrical wiring and protection calculations * Operating parameters (amperage, voltage, resistance) * Verify phase sequence during PM and CM or apply tests on power devices (thermography, megger, continuity) or verify and retighten electrical connections or install electric motors Mechanics: * Motor rotation direction and phase sequence during PM and CM * Alignment, belt tension, and pulleys during PM and CM * Handling, operation, and maintenance of compressors (digital scroll, screw, semi-hermetic) * Handling, operation, and maintenance of condensers and evaporators * Handling, operation, and maintenance of VRF units, inverter chillers, mini-splits, UMAS, cassette units, Fan & Coil units * Measurement of operating parameters (pressure gauges, vacuum gauge, vacuum pump) * Handling, operation, and maintenance of chilled and hot water pumps or handling, operation, and maintenance of motors of various capacities Visual Improvement: * Installation of screws and covers on HVAC equipment * Perform identification and labeling of HVAC equipment, piping, and components * Repair cabinets (painting and sheet metal work) * Apply paint to electrical and water piping, equipment bases Hydraulics: * Verification of hydro-pneumatic equipment operation (pressure switches, timers, actuators) * Verification of pumps, motors, and piping in water pumping systems * Validate operation of electronic level sensors in cisterns and water tanks Corrective Maintenance: * Detect and repair faults in chilled water and direct expansion systems * Replacement of electromechanical components: fan motors, belts, motors, pulleys, contactors, pumps, etc. * Replacement of electrical components: circuits, knife switches, fuses, thermal-magnetic breakers, wiring, protection coordination adjustments * Compressor replacement, HVAC equipment installation, refrigerant charging, or refrigerant recovery * Nitrogen circuit purging and vacuum application * Oxy-fuel welding application * Implement RETROFIT activities during corrective maintenance. 5. Main Responsibilities * Specify the primary activities/responsibilities assigned to this position. * Communication: Identify and communicate to the supervisor risks associated with equipment operation (via chat or phone call) * Respond to / perform emergency calls (operational or safety-related) * Reporting: Initiate, execute, and close assigned work orders in the digital platform Ensure: * SLA (execution times) ❖ Attach evidence of reports signed and stamped by the client ❖ Photographic evidence of services (before, during, after) ❖ Equipment operational parameters required in the work order or Physical documentation delivery to supervisor/planner (legible, clean, without erasures or corrections) or Daily attendance report (clock-in and clock-out) ▪ Work Tools: * Manage proper use and care of tools assigned by the company ▪ * Ensure: ❖ Physical condition and quantity tool inspection jointly with HSE team (monthly) ❖ Knowledge of tool types required for different activities ❖ Report physical anomalies of tools (if not meeting standards, deliver to supervisor) ❖ If assigned a vehicle and/or mobile device, comply with usage policies * Sustainability: o Properly manage waste generated from work orders ▪ Ensure: ❖ Transport, delivery, and disposal of waste in appropriate containers in designated areas * Image: o Maintain corporate image with clients * Ensure: ❖ Wear complete, clean uniform daily, without tears or alterations ❖ Present oneself for work well-groomed, with short and combed hair; if wearing a beard, keep it trimmed ❖ Submit requests for uniform replacement or due to physical condition 6. Control Responsibilities * Review compliance percentage (findings, self-managed tasks, WOs, PPMs, checklists) in the maintenance platform * Validate SLAs for initiation, execution, validation, and closure of scheduled activities in the digital platform * Conduct the established number of effective visits to carry out scheduled work * Activities: 90% operational, 10% administrative 7.
