Req ID: 77071 **Description** --------------- Skyworks is seeking an Engineering Technician in Reliability to perform qualifications of new products, packages, and processes. This includes performing electrical tests, High Temperature Operating Life (HTOL) tests in temperature ovens, temperature and humidity tests, and Highly Accelerated Stress Test (HAST) chamber tests. High temperature testing and Reflow processes are also included. The technician is responsible for properly applying material stress according to internal and industry standards. The technician will have the opportunity to suggest and implement ideas related to their work process. **Responsibilities** --------------------- * Load materials into temperature and humidity ovens and perform Reflow (preconditioning) stress on parts. * Perform temperature cycling, HAST, UHAST, and HTS tests. * Load PCBs onto boards for HTOL stress application. * Create and maintain qualification plans using Excel spreadsheets. * Update databases. * Qualification preparation includes: + HTOL board setup and loading * Perform RF (Radio Frequency) electrical tests on PCB boards. * Perform RF (Radio Frequency) electrical tests on parts using handler-type equipment. * Analyze data after electrical testing and generate graphs. * Create and maintain qualification plans using Excel spreadsheets. * Update databases. * Qualification preparation includes: + HTOL board and oven setup and loading. + HAST board setup and loading. + Material loading for temperature cycling. + THB (Temperature/Humidity/Voltage) loads. + HTS (High Temperature Storage) loads. **Required Experience and Skills** ---------------------------------------- Work with schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, define test plans for electrical testing, failure review. Conduct operational tests and isolate failures in systems and equipment. Assist in determining methods or actions to remedy failures. Assist in the design, construction, testing, and review of test equipment. Use test and diagnostic equipment, including but not limited to oscilloscopes, function generators, and specialized test instruments. **Desired Experience and Skills** -------------------------------------- * 2-year technical degree in electronics engineering (electronics technician) or physics. * 4+ years of Product Reliability experience or performing HTOL and environmental testing. * 2+ years of RF (Radio Frequency) testing experience using Spectrum Analyzers, Signal Analyzers, and Power Meters is required. * Strong communication skills are essential. * Experience using Microsoft Office (MS) software suite, preferably Excel.
