Responsibilities: Diagnose and repair diesel engines by performing preventive and corrective maintenance, safety inspections, adjustments, component replacements, and performance tests to ensure safe and efficient operation, including electrical, braking, and transmission systems. Competencies / Skills / Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of Cummins and Paccar engines; To perform well in this position, the candidate must demonstrate the following: ● Fault diagnosis: Ability to identify mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues using diagnostic tools and specialized software. ● Preventive and corrective maintenance: Conduct inspections, adjustments, and component replacements according to manufacturer specifications to optimize efficiency and minimize downtime. ● Technical knowledge: In-depth understanding of diesel engine systems (fuel injection, lubrication, exhaust), transmissions, and electrical/electronic systems. ● Tool usage: Expert handling of hand tools, measuring equipment, and testing instruments. ● Safety: Strict adherence to workshop safety and hygiene standards.
