DATACOM ENGINEER We offer: Monthly salary: $25,000 to $30,000 (tax-free) Bi-weekly payments PL Hybrid work model Working hours: Monday to Friday Work location: CDMX Position Objective Design, implement, optimize, and support data communication infrastructures, ensuring availability, security, and performance of corporate and telecom networks. --- Main Responsibilities Design LAN, WAN, MAN, and IP network architectures. Configure and manage routers, switches, firewalls, and transmission links. Implement communication and routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VLAN, VPN). Monitor network performance and resolve incidents. Optimize traffic, latency, and service availability. Conduct testing, prepare technical documentation, and create network diagrams. Coordinate with deployment, security, and operations teams. Ensure compliance with security standards and operational continuity requirements. --- Academic Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Networking, Computer Systems, Electronics, or related field. Certifications in networking are desirable (CCNA, CCNP, HCIA, HCIP, or equivalents). --- Experience 2–5 years of experience in data network design, operation, or support. Experience with enterprise-grade networking equipment. Experience with telecom service providers or system integrators is desirable. --- Technical Knowledge Dynamic routing and advanced switching. IP addressing and subnetting. MPLS, VPN, QoS, and traffic load balancing networks. Network security and segmentation. Monitoring using NMS tools. TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP protocols. --- Skills Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Logical thinking and results-oriented mindset. Ability to work under pressure.
