Our technology powers mission‑critical solutions across Lending, Payments and Universal Banking, supporting over 7,000 customers, including 80% of the world’s top 50 banks, in more than 110 countries. **What will you contribute?** This individual will work closely with US\-based FinTech partners to understand the basics of their applications and recommend the best ways for them to integrate with Finastra's suite of lending solutions, such as LaserPro, Mortgagebot, Consumerbot, and Originate. It is also desirable for this person to have or quickly develop domain knowledge in any of the following areas so they can assist fellow members of the development team with detailed requirements and troubleshooting: * Credit Reports and Verification: formats and use * Banking Core systems: middleware and functions * Electronic Signature systems: features and use UCC Filing procedures * This Business System Analyst will be adept at working in a collaborative team environment following Agile procedures. This position will assist with backlog grooming, sprint management, and agile ceremonies. Additionally, this person will take ownership for developing requirements for projects as assigned. The **Business Systems Analyst** will elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, task and workflow analysis. The **Business Systems Analyst** must have the ability to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high\-level information into details, abstract up from low\-level information to a general understanding, and distinguish user requests from the underlying true needs. In addition the **Business Systems Analyst** will estimate execution and delivery timelines, implement work packages, define and mitigate risks as well as document the business and functional solutions. **Responsibilities \& Deliverables:** Your deliverables as a **Business Systems Analyst** will include, but are not limited to, the following: * Good knowledge of US Lending practices for the leading Consumer, Commercial, and Residential Real Estate loan types * Translate partner requirements into enhancement requests, swagger drafts, and test procedures * Assist Support principals with escalations; excellent knowledge of troubleshooting practices. * Efficiently meeting project budget targets and scheduled timelines in terms of assigned work packages. * Analyze requirements\-related information obtained from various sources: reconciliation, decomposition and gap analysis of this information. * Creating high\-quality documentation (clear and correct). * Validate that proposed technical designs are meeting the overall business requirement. * Assisting quality assurance team members with defect identification and resolution * Ensure that the project's business requirements are clear and understood by all project stakeholders. * Lead all workshops related to gathering and review of project requirements and business solution. Control of received requirements against the approved project scope and 1st line of resolution of related conflicts. Identify and communicate any project risks encountered. * **Required Experience:** * Proven capability and experience in translating high level requirements into software specification for system interfaces and process engineering. * Familiar with Project Management methodology and best practices. * Experience and knowledge in Financial Services, Banking an asset * Application development and/or functional testing experience is an asset * Minimum **5** years of general IT experience, of which **2** years has been in business systems analysis and the development of functional specifications * University diploma in Computer Sciences or Engineering related fields * Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to communicate with business partners, senior management and executive audiences. * Exhibit an appreciation of end\-user needs and requirements with ability to see the big picture * Exceptional ability to write concisely and precisely. * Sound analytical and problem solving skills as well as proven time management skills. * Flexibility to adapt quickly and change priorities as required to changing requirements. The candidate must be organized individual who learns quickly and thinks well on their feet. * Very strong ability to work independently as a lead of the requirements work package on assigned projects. * Excellent Microsoft Office skills, including Word, Visio and PowerPoint.
