




Position Summary: Ensure the recording, analysis, and control of the Group’s accounting operations, guaranteeing timely preparation of financial reports and regulatory compliance. Key Highlights: 1. Financial statement analysis and preparation for consolidation. 2. Account reconciliations and analysis to ensure financial integrity. 3. Support for internal and external audits. **Purpose of the Position:** Ensure the recording, analysis, and control of accounting operations across Endeavour México Group companies, guaranteeing accurate preparation of financial reports and timely compliance with legal, tax, and corporate regulations. **Responsibilities:** * Review daily transactions recorded in SAP modules for Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Treasury, and Fixed Assets. * Analyze and prepare financial statements in MXN and USD for submission to Corporate and consolidation purposes. * Conduct monthly analysis of financial statement variances against limits established by Corporate. * Prepare quarterly financial statements required by the Ministry of Economy. * Prepare working papers related to provisions, advances, guarantee deposits, financing, intercompany loans, and amortizations. * Perform account reconciliations and analyses to ensure financial information integrity. * Validate monthly foreign exchange revaluations and foreign exchange variation effects for each Group company. * Record and update daily in SAP the exchange rates published by Banxico and Oanda. * Generate and record journal entries related to monthly closing and correction of entries. * Review and validate payroll provisions, depreciation, and amortization of deferred expenses. * Consolidate and monitor Accounts Payable provisions and advances related to material receipt. * Review and validate federal, state, and social security tax filings. * Support internal and external audits by providing required accounting information. * Provide support and respond to accounting requests from other departments and Corporate. * Propose and support improvements in SAP, chart of accounts modifications, and technological solutions to optimize accounting processes. **Requirements** **Experience:** * 3 years in accounting, preferably in the mining sector or related industries. **Education:** * Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting, Financial Administration, Economics, or related field. **Special Skills and Knowledge:** * Proficiency in accounting ERP systems (SAP, Oracle or similar). * Knowledge of local and international accounting standards. * Financial data analysis. * Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel).
