**Job Description** 1.0 GENERAL OBJECTIVE: Responsible for assisting in performing simple maintenance tasks, providing support to Technicians, and carrying out preventive and/or corrective maintenance in assigned areas. Responsible for assisting in the execution of assigned work orders, as well as supporting internal customers. 2.0 RESPONSIBILITIES / FUNCTIONS: 2.1 Responsible for providing support in performing preventive and corrective maintenance on assigned equipment, machines, and systems; maintaining mechanical/electrical systems of machinery used in Manufacturing and assigned areas in good condition. Document corrective work orders, summaries of preventive and predictive maintenance (if applicable) in electronic and/or written logs. 2.2 Responsible for providing support in activities related to the Calibration Department (if applicable). 2.3 Assists with the use of manuals, schematics, engineering drawings, and diagrams; responsible for monthly updates of quality system training records. Follow established systems for inventory and work order control; provide support for activities required to implement Medline’s continuous improvement programs (Continuous Improvement, Kaizen, 5S, scheduled trainings). 2.4 Responsible for maintaining effective communication with all departments. 2.5 Responsible for ensuring that their work team complies with and adheres to the company’s safety rules; uses required equipment, protective devices, or clothing—or refrains from using prohibited items—as mandated by the company’s health and safety regulations. Immediately reports any absence or defect in protective equipment or clothing to their supervisor and/or the EHS Department. Keeps their work area clean and safe, and informs their supervisor of any hazards. 2.6 Responsible for implementing the LOTO system and achieving zero accidents. 3.0 PROFESSIONAL PROFILE: 3.1 Experience / Technical Knowledge.
