**We are looking for** our **new Safety Assistant.** **We are looking for recent graduates.** Support the Construction Site Resident in supervising and controlling safety and hygiene conditions on site, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations, accident prevention, and the integrity of personnel, facilities, and equipment. **Functions and responsibilities** * Daily supervision of compliance with **safety and hygiene** standards on site. * Verification of the **correct use of PPE** (hard hat, vest, boots, harness, etc.) by all personnel. * Identification of **unsafe acts and conditions**, immediately reporting them to the Construction Site Resident. * Support implementation of **safety protocols**, signage, and evacuation routes. * Maintain a **safety logbook** documenting incidents, observations, and corrective actions. * Coordinate and follow up on **safety inductions** for new personnel and subcontractors. * Monitor proper storage and handling of **materials, tools, and machinery**. * Support investigation and reporting of **accidents and incidents**. * Ensure compliance with internal regulations, safety rules, and guidelines. * Maintain order and cleanliness in work areas (5S on site). * Support internal or external safety audits. **Authority** * Halt work activities posing an **imminent risk** to personnel or the project. * Request immediate safety-related corrections. * Report serious non-compliances to the Construction Site Resident. **Job requirements** * Education: Recent graduate in Architecture or Civil Engineering * Experience: Not required * Basic knowledge of **construction safety regulations** (STPS or equivalent). * Basic ability to read construction drawings and processes. **Skills and competencies** * Strong sense of **responsibility and prevention** * Observation and attention to detail * Clear and firm communication * Ability to work under pressure * Order, discipline, and process adherence * Operational leadership and field authority Job type: Full-time Salary: $10,000.00 – $13,000.00 per month Work location: On-site employment
