Work Mode: On-site Full-time Salary: $10,000 to $15,000 per month Profile: \- The optometrist’s responsibilities include: Conducting comprehensive eye and vision examinations. Diagnosing eye disorders, such as myopia, astigmatism, and glaucoma. Prescribing medications, eyeglasses, and contact lenses. Conducting comprehensive eye and vision examinations. Requirements Work experience as an optometrist. In-depth understanding of ocular conditions and visual impairments. Practical experience with ocular examination tools, such as ophthalmoscopes and tonometers. The ability to explain medical terms in simple and reassuring language. Attention to detail. Degree in Optometry. Diagnosing eye disorders, such as myopia, astigmatism, and glaucoma. Providing temporary and permanent customized solutions for vision problems based on each patient’s specific case and medical history. Prescribing medications, eyeglasses, and contact lenses. Advising patients on proper eye care techniques. Maintaining up-to-date and accurate medical records for all patients. Scheduling follow-up appointments when further examinations are required. Training patients on how to use and maintain their contact lenses. Referring patients to ophthalmologists or eye surgeons when surgery is needed or in cases of severe ocular injury.
