Coordination of continuous improvement programs **Tractor-Trailer Operator Instructor** **Job Description** At **Amado Furniture and Moving**, we are looking for a **Tractor-Trailer Operator Instructor** with proven experience in fifth-wheel (single) driving and field and classroom training. The purpose of this position is to **train, evaluate, and monitor operators**, ensuring road safety, operational efficiency, and compliance with SCT regulations. **Responsibilities** * Administer theoretical and practical driving tests to new candidates. * Deliver orientation and ongoing training courses (defensive driving, road safety, SCT regulations). * Supervise operator performance on local and long-distance routes in the field. * Accompany operators on training and evaluation trips. * Monitor fuel consumption and preventive maintenance of vehicles. * Prepare evaluation and training outcome reports. * Coordinate continuous improvement programs to eliminate unsafe practices. **Requirements** * Education: Completed high school diploma (Technical or Engineering degree in Transportation/Logistics preferred). * **5 years of experience as a tractor-trailer operator** (fifth-wheel, single, and full). * **Minimum 3 years of experience as an operator instructor** (classroom and field). * **Valid Federal Class B or E driver’s license** and current medical fitness certificate. * Knowledge of SCT regulations, basic mechanics, and local and long-distance routes. * Flexible schedule and willingness to travel. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. **Skills and Competencies** * Leadership and teamwork. * Planning and organization. * Effective communication. * Positive attitude and adaptability. **We Offer** * Competitive salary (based on experience). * Statutory benefits. * Life insurance. * Free uniforms. * Per diems. * Subsidized cafeteria. * Job stability and professional development.
