Come join our 33,000+ staff working in nearly 100 countries and share the joy of transforming vulnerable children’s life stories! **REGIONAL OPERATIONS COORDINATOR - CENTRAL REGION** **POSITION PURPOSE** Coordinate, design, and schedule the work plan for the implementation of special or technical projects, focusing on the target population and operational areas where World Vision Mexico has defined to carry out its operations, based on institutional policies and guidelines, as well as actions and agreements established with the donor or project partner(s), to ensure quality in fulfilling commitments made, which contribute to the well-being and protection of girls, boys, adolescents, youth, and adult beneficiaries. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Strengthen the capacity development of work teams according to the objectives of the Special/Technical Projects implemented in the region. * Ensure 100% of the team knows and understands the methodologies according to the Special/Technical Project(s) implemented in the region. * Generate and record the number of capacity-building initiatives implemented to contribute to achieving the objectives of the Special/Technical Projects. * Ensure 100% of the team knows and applies facilitation techniques according to methodologies and context. * Provide technical guidance throughout the entire regional process to implement the Special/Technical Project within and outside the intervention area, in line with regional strategy goals. * Evaluate that 100% of Area Program Designs comply with the guidelines of the Special/Technical Project and the regional strategy. * Verify that 100% of project and regional staff understand and can explain the implementation process of the Special Project within the framework of the Technical Program. * Design new (complementary and/or special) projects that contribute to achieving the regional strategy while complying with institutional guidelines and policies. * Plan the execution of authorized projects in the Region. * Validate that 100% of designs for complementary and special projects comply with the guidelines of the Special/Technical Project and the regional strategy. * Ensure 100% of donor reports are delivered according to the descriptive report of the Special/Technical Project. * Ensure compliance with targets and processes regarding Design, Monitoring, and Evaluation (DME) of the Special/Technical Projects in the region. * Achieve 95% of the targets of the Special/Technical Projects. * Develop monthly work plans contributing to achieving the targets of the Special/Technical Projects. * Report progress on the targets of the implemented Special/Technical Project. * Ensure 100% of data for Special/Technical, complementary, and special projects is supported by information in Horizon. * Deliver 100% of information timely and properly to the Regional Operations Directorate and/or Area Program Management (DME processes, BSC). * Ensure 100% of submitted reports include necessary evidence supporting the reported figures. * Manage financial and material resources of the Special/Technical Project implemented in the region. * Execute at least 90% of the budget for Special/Technical Projects according to monthly planning. * Ensure 100% of benefits have internal controls supporting them (beneficiary reconciliation). * Ensure 100% of procurements comply with the current supply chain policy. * Maintain records of 100% of administrative activities of the Special/Technical Project, carried out according to the Financial Manual (purchase requisitions, fund requests, explanation of variances, etc.). * Coordinate actions with regional and state partners to achieve the targets of the Special/Technical Project and the regional strategy. * Generate and deliver a report on the number of agreements established and signed during the project period in the Region. * Generate and deliver a report on the number of collaborations established and signed during the project period in the Region. * Record the number of girls, boys, adolescents, and youth impacted through partnerships to contribute to the regional strategy. * Generate and deliver a report on the number of Agreements and/or arrangements implemented during the project period in the Region. * Demonstrate commitment and alignment with organizational philosophy, attitude to protect children, adherence to child protection policy, confidential handling of information related to the position and the organization, and participation in safety measures for self and others when required. **PROFILE:** Experience: Two to three years in: * Management of operational and administrative processes. * Budget management and project management. * Implementation of projects in communities. Relationship with NGOs and government.
