RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise and manage daily warehouse operations, including receipt, storage, and shipment of products or materials, while ensuring effective coordination among staff. Supervise and enforce company policies and safety standards to ensure the safety of all warehouse employees. Manage inventory, including maintaining accurate records, conducting cycle counts, and resolving any discrepancies. Plan and allocate resources effectively to meet daily operational needs, maximizing productivity and minimizing downtime. Train, guide, and provide periodic feedback to warehouse staff to develop their skills and experience, enabling them to perform their tasks with maximum efficiency. Collaborate with other departments, such as logistics and procurement, to effectively manage and prioritize incoming and outgoing shipments. Continuously seek opportunities to improve processes and implement changes to increase efficiency and reduce costs. Conduct periodic inspections and audits to maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with quality standards. Manage and resolve any warehouse-related issues or conflicts that may arise, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining positive relationships with employees. Prepare and analyze reports on warehouse operations, including productivity, inventory levels, and shipping/receiving accuracy, providing recommendations for improvement.
