Maintains high standards of quality and customer service. We are seeking an OPERATIONAL/ADMINISTRATIVE RESTAURANT COORDINATOR. OBJECTIVE: Coordinate and supervise the restaurant’s proper operations, profitability, and achievement of operational objectives, as well as aspects of the administrative area. Ensure efficient restaurant operations, while maintaining high levels of production, productivity, quality, and customer service standards. Guarantee compliance with health and safety regulations in the restaurant. POSITION PROFILE: * Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Accounting, Gastronomy, Tourism, or related field. * Experience in this position, both operationally and administratively, within the restaurant industry. * Demonstrable experience working as a Restaurant Coordinator or Manager. * Extensive knowledge of inventory management and food & beverage control. * Familiarity with restaurant management software. * Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays. * Residency in Cancún for at least one year. REQUIREMENTS: * Meet minimum experience requirement. * Availability to work flexible hours. * Intermediate English proficiency. * Valid health card. PRIMARY DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES: * Coordinate and supervise staff-related incidents. * Coordinate daily restaurant operations across dining areas, bar, kitchen, and production. * Supervise table service and customer interaction. * Monitor proper food preparation in the kitchen and beverage dispensing at the bar for table service. * Supervise optimal production-area operations. * Supervise correct product labeling and stock-out procedures under FIFO standards. * Respond efficiently and accurately to customer complaints. * Evaluate product quality and proper receipt; follow up on purchase requisitions and supplier lists, assessing prices and selecting optimal options. * Organize and supervise staff shifts and assign breaks. * Evaluate staff performance and provide feedback to improve productivity. * Forecast future requirements for items, kitchen utensils, and cleaning supplies. * Ensure compliance with sanitary and safety regulations. * Monitor operational costs and identify measures to reduce waste. * Recruit new staff based on operational needs. * Supervise proper training of new staff.
