**Job Description:**
Mission:
As a Painter Technician, you will be responsible for applying coatings and paint finishes on helicopters and their components to satisfy our customers' requirements, utilizing and innovating techniques in the painting process.
Responsibilities:
* Perform all painting and coating application tasks assigned by the shop supervisor on helicopters, their components, subcomponents, systems, or specific tasks as applicable. Tasks arising from service, bulletins, airworthiness directives, technical and supplementary instructions, as well as the correction of discrepancies.
* Carry out all assigned work under the paint application procedures and technical documentation set by the manufacturer and applicable aeronautical authorities, always meeting specified safety and quality standards.
* Identify parts, tools, and estimated time for performing painting and coating activities through the correct assessment of discrepancies.
* Know and correctly apply in their entirety the standard techniques issued by the manufacturer regarding the application of paints and final treatments according to MTC 20\.04
* Must know and comply with the regulations, policies, and objectives issued by the aeronautical authority, the manufacturer, and the company, as well as the quality system policies applied therein.
* Keep work areas clean and orderly and comply with the provisions of the 5S procedure.
* Maintain common tools used for painting in operation and optimal conditions; immediately report any defect found or caused in them to the supervisor or tool keeper.
* Maintain and spread aeronautical awareness and commitment toward entrusted objectives, always with a positive response to training and the availability to train personnel under their charge, thus promoting teamwork at all times.
* Comply with the company's operational safety policy.
* Report safety events in a timely and proper manner (voluntarily or confidentially).
* Follow defined protocols in emergency or crisis situations.
* Assist in taking measures for risk mitigation.
* Timely report hazards, events, or situations that affect operational safety.
* Follow the instructions of safety brigades in emergency response situations.
* Abide by operational safety provisions.
* Know and comply with Export Control regulations, completing the defined annual training on the Mypulse platform.
Requirements:
* Minimum education level: High School Incomplete (Essential)
* Maintenance Technician Class I (Desirable)
* Maintenance Technician Class II (Desirable)
* Minimum 1 year of experience in the field (Essential requirement).
* Competencies: High stress tolerance and adaptability, total integrity and meticulousness in details, teamwork capacity, and creativity for problem\-solving.
