This role plays a key part in identifying the best technical solutions for customer needs, supporting sales activities, and ensuring the successful implementation and performance of products in the field. The Application Engineer acts as a technical bridge between customers, Sales, Product Engineering, and Service teams. **Key Responsibilities** ------------------------ ### **Technical Support \& Applications Engineering** * Analyze customer requirements and provide recommended solutions based on technical specifications, performance needs, and industry standards. * Support the selection, sizing, and application of products for new and existing projects. * Interpret engineering drawings, CAD files, and documentation to provide accurate recommendations. * Conduct failure analysis and root\-cause investigations when required. ### **Customer Support \& Field Activities** * Provide on\-site customer support including installation assistance, troubleshooting, and commissioning support. * Deliver technical presentations, product training, and demonstrations for customers, distributors, and partners. * Maintain strong customer relationships by providing timely, accurate, and high‑quality technical assistance. ### **Sales Support \& Collaboration** * Work closely with Sales Engineers to develop customer proposals that include technical specifications, product performance data, and value‑added solutions. * Assist with creating technical content for quotations, tenders, and RFQs. * Participate in customer visits, commercial negotiations, and opportunity assessments as the technical expert. ### **Product \& Market Knowledge** * Maintain expert knowledge of company products, applications, and industry requirements. * Monitor market trends, competitor technologies, and customer needs to support business strategy and product development. * Provide structured feedback to Product Engineering and R\&D for continuous improvement and new product opportunities. ### **Documentation \& Compliance** * Prepare technical reports, application notes, performance calculations, and documentation for internal and customer use. * Ensure compliance with engineering standards, quality requirements, and safety regulations. * Maintain accurate records of customer projects, test results, and technical interactions. **Qualifications \& Requirements** ---------------------------------- ### **Education** * Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial Engineering, or a related field required. ### **Experience** * 2–5 years of experience in applications engineering, technical support, or similar engineering roles. * Experience with industrial products, rotating equipment, bearings, mechanical systems, automation, or manufacturing environments is a strong plus. ### **Technical Skills** * Strong understanding of engineering principles, product design, and industrial applications. * Ability to perform technical calculations, product sizing, and performance analysis. * Experience with diagnostic tools, testing equipment, or condition monitoring systems (if applicable). * Proficiency with ERP/CRM systems and MS Office. * CAD knowledge (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar) is an advantage. ### **Soft Skills** * Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly. * Strong problem‑solving abilities and analytical thinking. * Customer‑oriented mindset with high responsiveness and adaptability. * Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast‑paced environment. * Willingness to travel across Mexico as required. **What We Offer** ----------------- * Opportunity to work in a dynamic technical and engineering environment. * Exposure to key customers and strategic projects across Mexico. * Professional development and training in advanced technologies. * Competitive salary, benefits, and growth potential within a global organization.
