**Profile and Requirements** **Academic Qualifications** Civil Engineering or Architecture professional. **Experience** Minimum of 4 years’ experience in cost estimation and cost adjustment. **Skills** Organization, Compliance, Teamwork, Responsibility, Discipline, Leadership. **Training** Knowledge of planning, control, and scheduling of construction progress; construction processes; materials; blueprint interpretation; work quantity take-offs; cost estimation; unit prices; laws and regulations governing public works. **Responsibilities and Functions of the Position** * Review, verify, and/or prepare extraordinary unit prices. * Coordinate the preparation of work quantity take-offs. * Deliver and track estimates through to payment. * Oversee the analysis, calculation, and compilation of unit prices to establish a benchmark for decision-making. * Support the preparation of official minutes documenting various project events to formally record factual occurrences. * Verify that construction estimates include: work quantity take-offs, location sketches, quality control test reports, estimate certificates, invoices, logbook notes, estimated work items, and photographic reports—ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and statutory content standards. * Verify that invoices related to estimates meet established requirements, including alignment with the estimate amount, tax deductions, and advance payment amortization—with appropriate names and signatures—to ensure compliance with applicable regulations. * Review and verify that work quantity take-offs are supported by arithmetic calculations and chain measurements corresponding to the work front being billed in the estimate, ensuring correct processing. * Verify that estimates under the construction schedule are processed within the project’s execution period to ensure proper processing and compliance with applicable regulations.
