Job Summary: We are seeking a Payroll Assistant to ensure the accurate and timely preparation, calculation, and payment of payroll in compliance with labor and tax legislation. Key Responsibilities: 1. Manages weekly and biweekly payroll calculations. 2. Processes IMSS/IDSE transactions and prepares termination settlements/liquidations. 3. Resolves employee inquiries regarding payments and prepares audits. A leading manufacturer of plastic horticultural containers with over 50 years of experience in the industrial sector is expanding and seeks: ***Payroll Assistant*** ***The purpose of this position is to ensure the accurate and timely preparation, calculation, and payment of payroll in compliance with current labor and tax legislation.*** Main Responsibilities: * Weekly and biweekly payroll calculation * Recording absences, disabilities, overtime, vacations, and tardiness. * Processing employee registrations, terminations, and salary modifications with IMSS/IDSE. * Preparing and disbursing payroll, termination settlements, and liquidations, including CFDI receipt stamping. * Verifying accounting records and preparing information for audits. * Resolving employee inquiries regarding their payments. Requirements: * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. * Prior experience in similar positions preferred. * Proficiency in NOI, SUA, IDSE, and payroll calculation. * High attention to detail and numerical accuracy. * Confidentiality in handling information. * Knowledge of labor and tax laws. * Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure. * Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel. * Proactive attitude. * Strong sense of urgency. * Attention to detail.
