




Position Summary: General Physician for outpatient consultation, assessing patients’ health status, treating common pathologies, and making referrals, with both clinical and administrative responsibilities. Key Responsibilities: 1. Clinical care, diagnosis, and treatment of common diseases 2. Patient management, ordering and interpretation of diagnostic tests 3. Prevention, health promotion, and patient education The General Physician in outpatient consultation. Primary function: Assess patients’ health status, treat common pathologies (infectious, metabolic, respiratory), and refer patients to specialists when necessary. Includes preparation of clinical records and administrative tasks. **Main Functions and Responsibilities:** * **Clinical Care:** Conduct medical history taking (anamnesis), physical examination, diagnosis, and treatment of common diseases. * **Patient Management:** Order and interpret laboratory and imaging studies, perform wound dressings, injections, blood pressure and glucose measurements, and issue medical certificates. * **Prevention and Health Promotion:** Educate patients about their health, promote healthy lifestyles, and identify risk factors. * **Administration:** Record information in the clinical record (paper or electronic), manage appointments, and report service productivity. * **Referral:** Refer patients to secondary or tertiary care levels when case complexity exceeds the scope of general medicine. **Required Profile:** * **Education:** Bachelor’s degree in Medicine (Degree and Professional License). * **Skills:** Diagnostic ability, empathetic interpersonal communication, effective communication, decision-making under pressure, and teamwork. * **Knowledge:** Familiarity with clinical practice guidelines and current health regulations.
