Tax compliance and control of accounts, budgets, and inventories **Job Description: Accountant – MOVE / CEBSA / Sortimo México (with Salary) Position Summary** The Accountant will be responsible for ensuring financial, tax, administrative, and accounting control over the operations of MOVE, CEBSA, and Sortimo México. They will manage accounting information, generate reports for management, ensure tax compliance, and maintain control over accounts, budgets, inventories, and **full payroll processing**. **Salary Range** **$20,000 to $25,000 MXN gross per month** Dependent on experience, certifications, and proficiency in **tax accounting + payroll + administrative control**. *(This range aligns with market standards for accountants with 3–6 years of experience and multi-branch/multi-company responsibilities.)* **Main Responsibilities General Accounting** * Accurate and timely accounting entries. * Preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. * Bank reconciliations and subsidiary ledger reviews. **Tax and Compliance** * Monthly and annual tax filings (VAT, Income Tax, DIOT). * CFDI validation and electronic accounting. * Compliance with IMSS, INFONAVIT, Fonacot, etc. obligations. * Support for internal and external audits. **Accounts Payable and Receivable** * Vendor payment control and processing. * Collections tracking for MOVE, CEBSA, and Sortimo. * Review and validation of expenses and travel allowances. **Administrative-Financial Control** * Annual budgeting per business unit. * Cost, margin, and profitability analysis. * Inventory control (Boxes and WorkMo at Sortimo). * Implementation of internal controls. **Payroll** * **Weekly/biweekly payroll creation, calculation, and stamping (timbrado)**. * Employee onboarding, offboarding, and modifications with IMSS. * Calculation of severance payments and liquidations. * Management of attendance incidents, vacations, overtime, and commissions. * Determination of the Base Salary for Contributions (SBC) and occupational risk assessments. * Payroll cost and provision reporting. **Management Support** * Executive financial reporting. * Cash flow projections. * Analysis for new projects and investment decisions. **Candidate Profile Education** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (degree completed). * Preferred: studies in taxation, payroll, or auditing. Experience * 3–5 years in general and tax accounting. * Demonstrable experience in **full payroll processing**. * Preferred experience in logistics, automotive, or mobility sectors. Technical Competencies * Up-to-date knowledge of tax and labor legislation. * Advanced Excel skills. * ERP or payroll system experience (CONTPAQi, NOI, Odoo).
