We are seeking a Project Manager with experience coordinating launch activities in paint and body shop areas to support an automotive OEM in the management, installation, and commissioning of industrial projects. **Responsibilities** **Layout Design and Development** * Develop layout options per work package, considering spatial constraints, material flows, and operator access. * Evaluate ergonomics and safety in each design, ensuring compliance with standards such as OSHA or internal standards. * Conduct flow analysis to optimize operator routes and minimize idle time. **Coordination and Review** * Lead design review meetings with CAD, production, and safety teams to validate proposals. * Update AutoCAD drawings based on feedback, ensuring changes are properly documented and clearly communicated. * Collaborate with process engineering to align layouts with production and maintenance requirements. **Stakeholder Management** * Present design options to clients and management, highlighting advantages, risks, and recommendations. * Work with logistics teams to ensure layouts facilitate material and equipment movement. * Coordinate with HR and safety teams to verify layouts comply with ergonomic and occupational well-being standards. **Iteration and Continuous Improvement** * Implement rapid iteration cycles to refine designs based on pilot testing or changing requirements. * Document lessons learned and best practices for future projects. * Participate in post-implementation layout audits to identify optimization opportunities. **Requirements** * Solid knowledge of manufacturing sequences, work content, takt time, and operator balancing. * Strong layout expertise. * Ability to assess flow concepts, material presentation, and process logic. * Understanding of ergonomic and handling implications in workstation design. * Ability to translate engineering logic into concrete layout requirements. * Experience in approximate cost analysis (ROM) and implementation sequencing. * Experience managing personnel. * English B2-C1. **Benefits** * Competitive base salary. * Major medical expense insurance (including dental and vision). * 15 days’ year-end bonus. * 25% vacation premium. * 12 vacation days from the first year. * Social security (IMSS). * Biweekly food vouchers.
