**We are hiring a Wireless Installation Technical Assistant!** **Requirements:** * Age: 25 to 45 years old * Completed high school education * Valid driver’s license * 1 to 2 years of experience in similar positions * Availability to work on highways and in rural communities **Responsibilities:** * Installation and Maintenance: Assemble, align, and anchor antennas and telecommunications equipment (Ubiquiti, Cambium, MikroTik) on towers, masts, and various structures. * Equipment Configuration: Configure wireless point-to-point (PTP) and point-to-multipoint (PTMP) links. * Troubleshooting and Problem Solving: Identify and resolve network faults, from connectivity issues and slow performance to signal interference. * Field Work: Conduct on-site technical surveys (site surveys) to assess the feasibility of new installations. * Driving and Logistics: Operate company vehicles (standard vans) to transport equipment and personnel to locations along highways and in rural communities. * Reporting and Documentation: Prepare detailed reports of performed installations, diagnostics, and maintenance activities, documenting configurations and network topologies. **Knowledge and Skills:** * Academic Background: Completed technical high school diploma or technical degree/TSU in Electronics, Telecommunications, Networking, or related field. * Professional Experience: Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience in similar roles such as installation technician, field technician in telecommunications, or WISP. * Driver’s License: Must hold a valid driver’s license. * Highway Experience: Extensive experience driving vans on federal highways and rural roads. * Tool Handling: Proficiency with manual and electric tools (drill, punch-down tool, pliers, etc.). * Technical Knowledge (Mandatory): * Configuration and commissioning of Ubiquiti antennas (AirMAX, UniFi), Cambium Networks (ePMP, PMP), and MikroTik (RouterOS). * Basic networking knowledge: IP addressing, subnetting, VLANs, and network protocols. * Working at Heights (Desirable): * Minimum 1 year of experience working at heights. **We Offer:** Starting salary: $12,000 monthly, with career growth opportunities.
