Primary objective is to guarantee proper goods logistics and fleet vehicle maintenance. **Key Responsibilities** **Unit Coordination and Supervision:** * Monitor unit departures and arrivals. * Ensure units are in appropriate condition before departing on routes. * Supervise adherence to departure and arrival schedules, managing route logistics. **Route and Schedule Management:** * Plan unit routes, optimizing delivery times and avoiding delays. * Resolve any issues during transit, such as detours or traffic-related delays. * Monitor unit locations in real time via GPS systems or other methods. **Communication with Drivers and Team:** * Maintain constant communication with drivers to provide instructions and updates regarding routes and conditions. * Coordinate cargo logistics and efficiently manage last-minute changes. **Documentation Control and Recordkeeping:** * Ensure units possess required documentation (permits, insurance, etc.) and record unit movements (departures, arrivals, maintenance). * Keep up-to-date reports on routes, delivery times, and other logistical aspects. **Unit Maintenance and Conditions:** * Inspect unit status and coordinate with the maintenance department to ensure proper functionality. * Conduct preventive or periodic inspections of units to avoid failures during operations. **Handling Unexpected Events:** * Promptly resolve incidents such as delays, accidents, breakdowns, or cargo-related issues. * Identify solutions that maintain workflow efficiency without delays.
