Responsible for defining and optimizing process parameters on injection molding machines to meet customer requirements and objectives such as: cycle time, scrap rate, OEE, model changeover time, and material consumption. Responsible for mold requalification and optimization of existing molds. Responsible for maintaining updated process sheets (parameter sheets), standard work instructions, and validated documentation. Jointly responsible with the NPI team for validating new molds and materials (resins, pigments, etc.), ensuring process safety, quality, and efficiency. Responsible for participating in the design review of new molds and in the development and execution of industrialization strategy. Responsible for participating in quick mold change strategy. Responsible for improving fixtures or process tools of medium\-to\-high complexity. Responsible for optimizing processes to reduce cycle times. Responsible for supervising that peripheral equipment, machinery, and molds remain in optimal condition. Responsible for development and fabrication of end\-of\-arm tooling for auto pins. Responsible for creation and maintenance of Process Flow Diagrams. Responsible for creation and updating of Operator Instructions. Responsible for documenting lessons learned and applying applicable corrective actions. Authority and responsibility to halt any activity that risks the environmental management system. Authority to stop any process posing potential environmental harm and\/or non\-compliance with environmental legal requirements. Provides support in generating problem solutions. Trains other team members when necessary. Responsible for high\-complexity processes. Resolves problems with minimal supervision using problem analysis methodologies (DMAIC, A3, 8D). Leads manufacturing technicians and mold change technicians. **What your background should look like** Education: Plastic Engineering / Mechatronics / Industrial Engineering Professional Experience: \+6 years of experience as an engineer, preferably Specific Knowledge and Skills: Advanced English Scientific Molding Mold Master Certification Drawing software, computer packages: AutoCAD, CREO, SolidWorks. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite. Ability to effectively document technical information. Knowledge of problem solving methodologies (5 Whys, 8D, A3, PDCA). Lean Six Sigma tools. Effective leadership skills. Interpretation of engineering drawings and use of measurement instruments. Core Tools Job\-relevant knowledge of IATF 16949 and ISO 14001.
