Focus on continuous improvement and quality Production Coordinator for the Assembly Area – Ozumba, State of Mexico **Location:** Ozumba, State of Mexico **Mandatory Requirement:** Reside in Ozumba or nearby areas such as Chalco, Tepetlixpa. EDUCATION: Engineering or Bachelor’s degree preferred. Required Experience: Preferably 2 years of experience in similar positions within metal-mechanical companies. TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE * Interpretation of production orders. * KPIs. * ERP system (SAP) operation. * Identification of production failures (specific to the area). * Production planning. * Interpretation of packaging drawings. * Preparation of statistical reports (bar charts, Ishikawa or Pareto 80/20). * Excel proficiency (pivot tables, charts, and basic formulas). * Measuring instruments. * Area-specific operating principles (lithographic presses, dies, assembly lines, roll cutting, or ovens). * Continuous improvement methodology (Kaizen method). * Human and material resources administration. * Quality specifications (area-specific). * Inventory management. * 5S methodology. * Risk analysis. JOB OBJECTIVE Coordinate and control process activities across EEEISA’s various production areas to ensure execution, while also guaranteeing achievement of departmental objectives and programs. FUNCTIONS 1. Receive and analyze daily production schedules via email from Production Planning and Control; schedule tasks and calendarize in OPTIPRO according to the production schedule. 2. Electronically distribute daily production reports to all involved organizational areas, indicating hourly output, machine stoppages, and incidents. 3. Ensure compliance with responsibilities by team members under supervision; record team-related incidents and review area personnel rosters. 4. Submit written reports to area management regarding any incident or anomaly occurring during the workday that directly or indirectly affects productivity, quality, product integrity, and/or non-compliance with the IMS, as well as any other situation affecting organizational assets and facilities. 5. Maintain close communication with the area manager to stay informed of any special requirements, and monitor daily and weekly adherence to departmental production programs. 6. Coordinate with the area supervisor and picker to manage warehouse operations for material supply and processing per production orders (OP) (see IN-A-04). 7. Track timely issuance of area maintenance orders until resolution to prevent process interruptions. 8. Conduct daily tracking of area-generated waste, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions to eliminate it. 9. Develop necessary action plans if established targets, minimum production standards, and/or any improvement opportunities identified within the department are not met. 10. Review all non-conforming product issues, rejections, and returns related to the area jointly with Quality Management. 11. Promote and actively participate in talks, meetings, trainings, emergency brigades, or any other organizational activity. 12. Participate in monthly process inventories coordinated with the Cost Department (see POL-CS-01). 13. Review and request, together with the area management, plant management, and Plant Sub-Directorate, overtime or shift adjustments for personnel due to production needs, subject to authorization by the Chief Operating Officer (COO) (see PR-RH-09). 14. In coordination with the supervisor, verify progress on completed OPs and ensure proper closure of production orders (see MPR-PO-05). 15. Verify that cleaning and organization are carried out according to the 5S program. 16. Prepare and monitor KPIs declared under the IMS to provide feedback to process supervisors regarding performance levels. 17. Verify that machinery and equipment are in optimal condition at the end of each workday. 18. Carry out process supervisor duties in their absence or when they are away from the department. 19. Track, to completion, activities described in Risk Analyses. 20. Communicate to staff the importance of effective quality management compliant with IMS requirements. 21. Monitor the completion, registration, and closure of departmental TPM cards.
