POSITION OBJECTIVE Coordinate and control process activities across EEEISA’s various production areas to ensure execution, while also guaranteeing compliance with departmental objectives and programs. FUNCTIONS 1. Receive and analyze daily production schedules via email from Production Planning and Control; schedule tasks and calendarize in OPTIPRO according to the production schedule. 2. Electronically send daily production reports to all involved organizational areas, indicating hourly output, machine stoppages, and incidents. 3. Ensure that subordinates fulfill their obligations; record team incidents and review the area’s personnel roster. 4. Submit written reports to the Area Management regarding any incident or anomaly occurring during the workday that directly or indirectly affects productivity, quality, product integrity, and/or noncompliance with the IMS, as well as any situation affecting the organization’s assets and facilities. 5. Maintain close communication with the Area Manager to learn about any special requirements, and monitor daily and weekly compliance with the department’s production programs. 6. Coordinate with the Area Supervisor and Picker to manage warehouse operations for material supply and processing according to production orders (OP) (see IN-A-04). 7. Track timely submission of area maintenance orders until resolution to prevent process interruptions. 8. Daily tracking of area-generated waste, investigation of root causes, and implementation of corrective actions to eliminate it. 9. Develop necessary action plans if established targets are not met, minimum production standards are unfulfilled, and/or any improvement opportunity is identified within the department. 10. Review with Quality Management all issues related to nonconforming products, rejections, and returns from the area. 11. Promote and actively participate in talks, meetings, trainings, emergency brigades, or any other activity conducted by the organization. 12. Participate in monthly process inventories coordinated with the Cost Department (see POL-CS-01). 13. Review and request, together with the Area Management, Plant Management, and Plant Sub-Directorate, overtime or shift changes for personnel due to production needs, subject to authorization by the Chief Operating Officer (COO) (see PR-RH-09). 14. In coordination with the supervisor, verify progress on completed OPs and ensure proper closure of production orders (see MPR-PO-05). 15. Verify that cleaning and order are carried out according to the 5S program. 16. Prepare and monitor KPIs declared under the IMS to provide feedback to process supervisors on compliance levels. 17. Verify that machinery and equipment are in optimal condition at the end of each workday. 18. Perform the Process Supervisor’s duties when the latter is absent or unavailable from the Department. 19. Track risk analysis activities until completion. 20. Communicate to staff the importance of effective quality management compliant with IMS requirements. 21. Track completion, registration, and closure of departmental TPM cards.
