We are seeking an ambitious and eager-to-learn Junior Accountant to support the finance department in managing daily accounting tasks. You will be part of a team of professionals dedicated to maintaining the order and transparency of our firm’s clients’ finances. Responsibilities * Record and process journal entries to ensure all business transactions are properly documented * Update accounts receivable and issue invoices * Update accounts payable and perform reconciliations * Assist in preparing balance sheets, income statements, and other financial statements in accordance with the company’s legal and financial guidelines * Assist with expense reviews, payroll records, etc., as assigned * Update financial data in databases to ensure accuracy and immediate availability when needed * Prepare and submit weekly and monthly reports * Assist in preparing monthly/annual closings and determining local and federal taxes * Assist with other accounting tasks Requirements * Minimum one year of demonstrable experience * Teamwork skills * Leadership and organizational skills * Personnel management skills * Strong attention to detail * Proficiency in arithmetic and numerical analysis, as well as analytical insight * Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting practices * Excellent knowledge of ASPEL\-COI and Excel \- Office * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field Working Hours: * Monday to Friday * Full-time, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm * Permanent position, opportunity for growth, and positive work environment. * Salary: $10000 to $13,000 depending on skills demonstrated in a brief assessment and availability of schedule Requirements * Minimum education: Higher education \- Bachelor’s degree * 1 year of experience * Age: between 20 and 35 years old Job Type: Full-time Salary: $10,000\.00 \- $13,000\.00 per month Benefits: * Flexible schedules Education: * Completed Bachelor’s degree (Preferred) Experience: * General Accounting: 1 year (Preferred) * Aspel: 1 year (Preferred) Work Location: On-site employment
