Knowledge of automation, PLCs, and security systems JOB TITLE: Electrical Technician DEPARTMENT: Maintenance ENTRY SALARY: $531 Daily LOCATION: Ramos Arizpe Plant SUMMARY: Provide preventive and corrective maintenance services to plant facilities in the areas of hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanics, sheet metal work, cutting and welding, load handling, and other required activities. SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: * Knowledge of hand tools and bench tools. * Basic knowledge of metrology. * Knowledge of electromagnetic motor control, basic circuits, three-phase motor connections, motor diagnostics, use of variable frequency drives, solid-state starters, motor replacement, bearing replacement, and troubleshooting. * Electrical maintenance for buildings in the following areas: water pumps, lighting, outlets, ceiling panel replacement, installation of thermomagnetic protection devices, maintenance of hydro-sanitary installations. * Basic knowledge of PLC automation, sensors, actuators, safety chains, and safety relays. * Knowledge of pneumatics. * Knowledge of hydraulics. * Knowledge of weighing equipment, scales, load cells, weight indicators, and scale calibration. * Knowledge of automatic lubrication systems. * Ability to read electrical control diagrams. * Fabrication/modification of electromagnetic power and control panels. * Electrical maintenance of electrical power distribution panels. * Knowledge of working at heights. * Knowledge of confined spaces. * Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures. * Teamwork, guidance of contractors and external suppliers. * Basic Office software skills. * Operation of multifunctional equipment.
