Proficiency in Architectural Styles: REST, GraphQL, gRPC, Events DESCRIPTION Your role is to ensure that interfaces are intuitive, consistent, scalable, and secure, facilitating integration between internal and external systems and promoting service reuse. **Experience in:** * **Contract Design:** Defining endpoints, data structures (JSON/XML), status codes, and parameters using standards such as OpenAPI * **Standardization:** Establishing design guidelines to ensure all organization APIs are consistent in naming conventions, versioning, and error handling. * **Scalability and Performance:** Designing interfaces capable of supporting high request volumes through pagination, filtering, and caching strategies. * **Security by Design:** Implementing robust authentication and authorization schemes (OAuth2, JWT, API Keys) and defining Rate Limiting and quota policies. * **Promoting Reuse:** Identifying common functionalities to build cross-cutting services that avoid duplication of business logic. **Technical Profile:** * Proficiency in architectural styles: REST, GraphQL, gRPC, and event-driven architectures (Webhooks, Pub/Sub). * In-depth knowledge of network protocols (HTTP/S, TCP) and web security (TLS, CORS, OWASP API Security). * Experience with API lifecycle management tools (API Gateways, Developer Portals).
