Opportunity for professional growth **First-Mile Driver / Operator** **Department:** Logistics / Distribution **Job Objective:** Responsible for the first stage of the product delivery process, from its origin (factory, supplier’s warehouse, etc.) to a distribution center or intermediate warehouse. Manages product pickup, packaging, and initial transportation. **Main Responsibilities:** * Receive and verify the loading order assigned by the Operations Department. * Load and secure cargo following safety and handling protocols. * Transport products from the origin point to the distribution center or intermediate destination. * Adhere to scheduled routes, timelines, and deliveries. * Maintain constant communication with the Traffic/Operations Department to report progress or incidents. * Record and deliver loading and unloading documentation. * Comply with applicable traffic and safety regulations. * Keep the assigned vehicle clean and in good condition. * Conduct a physical and mechanical inspection of the vehicle before each trip. * Report any mechanical anomalies or incidents occurring during transit. * Ensure that the vehicle’s maintenance services are performed at specified intervals. **Job Requirements:** * Education: Completed High School Diploma. * **Ability to ride a motorcycle.** * Experience: Minimum of 3 years in a similar role as a first-mile driver (e.g., Amazon, Mercado Libre, courier companies). **Verifiable.** * Valid Type B and E driver’s license issued by the State of Mexico. * Proficiency in mobile applications (Maps, Waze, Mercado Libre, WhatsApp). * Knowledge of road routes in Toluca. * **Availability to begin and end routes at Parque Industrial 2000.** * Schedule availability: Monday through Sunday, with rotating days off. **Skills:** * Attention to detail. * Organization and time management. * Analytical and problem-solving abilities. * Strong written and verbal communication skills. * Self-motivated and autonomous. **We Offer:** * Competitive monthly salary of $12,000 net. * Bi-weekly payroll. * Job stability. * Statutory benefits. * Opportunities for career advancement within the company.
