




**Job Profile: General Accountant** -------------------------------------- ### **Functions and Activities** * Prepare and oversee the company’s **general accounting**. * Record and analyze **revenues, expenses, accounting entries**, and bank reconciliations. * Prepare **financial statements** (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement). * Supervise the **monthly and annual accounting close**. * Calculate, file, and follow up on **taxes** (income tax, VAT, withholdings, etc.). * Comply with **tax obligations** before authorities. * Control and record **fixed assets and depreciation**. * Supervise **accounts payable and accounts receivable**. * Support **internal and external audits**. * Prepare financial reports for management. * Coordinate with payroll, procurement, and administration departments. * Implement and improve **internal controls**. * Safeguard and control accounting and tax documentation. ### **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in **Public Accounting** (degree conferred). * Minimum of 2 to 3 years’ experience in a similar position. * Up-to-date knowledge of **tax and accounting legislation**. * Proficiency in **accounting systems** (CONTPAQi, SAP, etc.). * Intermediate/advanced proficiency in **Excel**.
