Proposal of strategies to reduce time and costs ROUTE PLANNER (Last Mile) Job Objective Design and plan last-mile transportation route operations to ensure efficient, safe, and timely deliveries in CDMX and the metropolitan area, with a national-level vision and expertise. Ensure proper resource management, achievement of KPIs, and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities • Route Planning and Control o Design, adjust, and validate distribution routes in CDMX, the metropolitan area, and nationwide. o Consider delivery constraints (time windows, access restrictions, local regulations). o Load optimization for delivery units to maximize efficiency and capacity. o Monitor real-time route execution using delivery applications and GPS systems. o Resolve on-route incidents and ensure adherence to delivery timeframes. o Coordinate with warehouses and transport teams to synchronize loading and unloading. o Oversee external carriers, verifying service quality and contractual compliance. o Prepare key performance indicator reports (On-Time In-Full, costs, delivery times, customer satisfaction). o Operate ERP systems such as SAP, ORACLE, or similar for administrative control. o Use TMS and advanced Excel for data analysis and route optimization. • Propose strategies to reduce time and costs. Required Competencies • Thorough knowledge of routes in CDMX and the metropolitan area, with national-level awareness. • Proficiency in delivery applications and GPS monitoring tools. • Experience in load optimization and managing delivery constraints. • Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP, ORACLE or similar), TMS, and advanced Excel. Candidate Profile • Education: High school diploma or incomplete bachelor’s degree in related fields (Logistics, Administration, Engineering). • Experience: Minimum 3 years in route supervision or transportation.
