




Position Summary: Continuously supervise cleaning and maintenance activities in guest rooms and public areas, as well as organize and coordinate assigned staff. Key Responsibilities: 1. Constant supervision of hotel cleaning and maintenance. 2. Organization and control of linens and room supplies. 3. Coordination and leadership of assigned staff. Maintain constant supervision over cleaning activities in both guest rooms and hotel public areas. Assist the Housekeeping Manager in organizing and controlling linens and room items stored in the main linen room. Be familiar with the description of one’s duties and responsibilities. Control the entry and exit of linens, table linens, and uniforms from the linen room. Receive and properly store in the linen room all guest room linens and table linens delivered by the laundry. Supply housekeepers with linens and room supplies. Maintain accurate records of items entering and leaving the area. Ensure guest rooms remain in optimal physical condition. Prepare work orders for maintenance of defects identified in guest rooms. Supervise the condition of furniture, electrical equipment, bedspreads, curtains, and carpets in guest rooms. Supervise housekeeper activities and assist them in their duties when necessary. Ensure assigned areas are orderly, clean, and fully equipped with operational equipment. § Carry out special assignments requested either in the office or in guest rooms. Administer and operate assigned areas effectively. Inspect all vacant rooms in the hotel and report any discrepancies to the Housekeeping Manager. Supervise all rooms within one’s section and ensure compliance with established standards. Supervise all check-out rooms cleaned by housekeepers. Be proficient in using the computer system, especially the Housekeeping Manager menu. Organize and coordinate assigned staff. Ensure staff members are familiar with the description of their duties and responsibilities.
