Position Summary: Coordinate and implement Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) strategies for nationwide projects. Key Highlights: 1. A leading company in its sector is seeking a Certified Safety Specialist to coordinate and implement Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) strategies for nationwide projects. Base Location: Mexico City; willingness to travel to various locations across the country (e.g., Lagos de Moreno, Tepotzotlán, Pachuca, Zacatecas, among others). Schedule: Full-time, Monday to Saturday, from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. 1-hour lunch break Flexible schedule depending on operational needs Requirements Engineering or Bachelor’s degree in: Industrial Engineering, Industrial Safety, Civil Protection, Risk Prevention, or related field. Valid certification in: Occupational Safety and Health (OSH), ISO 45001 / ISO 14001 and/or OSHA Minimum 3–5 years of experience in industrial, asset, or corporate security. Demonstrable knowledge of Mexican Official Standards (NOM): NOM-009-STPS, NOM-005-STPS, NOM-029-STPS Training in first aid, emergency brigades, and fire suppression. Willingness to travel. Main Responsibilities: Design, implement, and supervise industrial safety and OSH plans. Verify compliance with regulations, internal policies, and applicable NOMs. Train personnel in risk prevention and emergency response. Conduct internal audits, safety inspections, and executive reports. Coordinate inspections and address requirements from external authorities. Support continuous improvement of safety systems.
