Accounting control of real estate projects from acquisition to closure IMPORTANT REAL ESTATE DEVELOPER REQUIRES: General Accountant Position Objective: Plan and supervise the company's accounting and tax operations, ensuring proper financial management, compliance with tax obligations, and accounting control of real estate projects from acquisition through financial closure. WE OFFER: Base salary: $25,000 to $30,000 (tax-free), commensurate with experience Work schedule: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM; Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Accounting (degree holder) Minimum 3 years of experience in general accounting within a real estate developer, construction sector, or accounting firm. Experience in project-based accounting. Experience in tax and financial audits. Proficiency in at least one ERP system. RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise the accounting recording of all the company's financial transactions. Prepare and analyze monthly and annual financial statements. Ensure correct application of Financial Information Standards (NIF). Manage bank reconciliations and account clean-up. Coordinate monthly and annual accounting closings. Financial control of real estate trusts. Supervise calculation and filing of: o VAT o Income Tax o DIOT o Provisional and annual tax returns Attend to tax audits and SAT requirements. Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, and treasury functions. Budgetary control and financial analysis. Preparation of financial reports for Management.
